The Island Swim Club, Inc. is a member-owned, private facility tucked away on a 7 acre park-like setting in Heartland Village, Staten Island -- a stone's throw away from the Staten Island Mall. It is a place to relax, swim and have fun with your family. The main pool is surrounded by grassy areas with tables and chairs and shaded spots within the treeline, for sunning, cooling your heels and socializing. For toddlers, there is a baby pool just for their exclusive use. Lifeguards are on duty at all times. The property also features paddleball, handball, basketball and tennis, shuffleboard, and horseshoe courts.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD:
A letter and a ballot is being sent out to all members in good standing. The letter will inform you of the agenda for the annual meeting to be held on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at 7:30PM at the JCC and the ballot will be for you to vote for various choices with regard to the future of our club. There will be instructions on how to cast your vote if you are unable to attend the meeting.

The Place
The property is furnished with plenty of tables and chairs in both sunny and shady areas. Restroom facilities include showers. There are 300 lockable cabanas on the grounds.
The Pool
Our main pool is 100' long, with a water slide. The depth of the pool ranges from approximately 3' to 5' deep and the slide area is 12' deep. There is one lap lane at certain times.
